About my work
It is nice to know something more about the artist behind the art, that is why you have decided to visit my website, that is why I am sharing some information about me.
In Spain, in Palma de Mallorca I was trained at a private art school called "Blau Escuela de Diseno" and majored in fashion design. After a short while, while at the same time too late, I discovered that what I liked was to design, conceptualize and draw, creating an image, instead of working on clothes. Frequently, I was creating sculptures instead of altering dresses or putting in zippers ....
Nothing is more gratifying than discovering that in this way I was able to create exactly what I wanted to create, what I meant to make and what I wanted to express. My statues are not creations that emerge during the process of making a sculpture. Before I get to this, I have constructed an image of the sculpture in my head. By means of inspiration and vision I form a mental picture of what the next sculpture will look like, usually as a consequence of a particular event, my natural surroundings, love, sadness, an encounter, a loss…
It is unpredictable…
