Background
About me...
At the moment I am working on the basis of the so-called 'cire perdue' method, using sometimes cloth and/or wood. The sculptures that have been made with cloth clearly reveal my fashion background, this ‘clothing’ however needs to be functional, it needs to express an emotion or emphasize a particular movement. Sometimes I do away with all ‘clothing-items’, in this case the sculpture is presented naked, in its purest, strongest and most beautiful form.
My daily schedule is tight, after the inspiration I feel that I just need to sit down and work hard, put in the hours and continue until I hold in my hands what was in my head. Afterwards I enjoy working in the garden as a kind of reward and take my dog for a long walk in the lovely countryside: a candy well-deserved!
